The bar on any site
One line for Webflow, Tilda, WordPress, Framer or your own code.
The bar is one script. It works on any site you can add custom code to, with no build step and no developer. Copy the line from your project's Install tab — it carries the project's id:
<script src="https://app.notemend.com/bar.js" data-project="<project-id>" defer></script>Where to paste it
| Platform | Where |
|---|---|
| Webflow | Site settings → Custom code → Footer code. Save, publish. |
| Tilda | Site settings → More → HTML code for the HEAD section. Save, republish all pages. |
| WordPress | The free WPCode plugin → Code Snippets → Header & Footer → Footer. Save. |
| Framer | Site settings → General → Custom Code → End of <body> tag. Publish. |
| Next.js | The root layout, with <Script … strategy="afterInteractive" /> from next/script. |
| Astro, plain HTML | Before </body> on every page, or in the shared layout. |
Who sees it
Visitors see nothing. The bar wakes for people in the project: open the site with ?notemend at the end of the address — the Install tab's Open site with Notemend does it — and press Sign in to comment. A Notemend tab opens, hands the sign-in to the site and closes.
You sign in once per site and browser; after that the bar shows whenever you open the site, without ?notemend. Send the same link to a client you added to the project.
Your session stays with Notemend
The sign-in never lives on the site. A hidden frame from app.notemend.com keeps it and makes the bar's calls, so the site's own scripts never hold a token, and the frame answers only the site it was opened for.
