Start guide
From a new project to the first fixed comment.
Notemend turns a comment pinned on a live site into a fixed site. Someone pins a note to an element, your coding agent reads the queue and fixes the code, and a person confirms the fix with a tick. Five steps get you there.
1. Make a project
Sign in at app.notemend.com with Google, a password or an emailed code. New project asks for a name and the site's address; one project is one site.
2. Put the bar on the site
The project's Install tab gives you one line to paste into the site's custom code — Webflow, Tilda, WordPress, Framer or your own. Visitors see nothing; the bar shows only to people in the project. See The bar on any site.
3. Comment
Press Open site with Notemend in the Install tab and sign in once on that browser. Click an element, write what should change, choose who it is for — the AI agent, anyone, or one person — and send. The comment remembers the element, the page and the screen width you wrote it at.
4. Let the agent fix it
In the site's code folder, once per computer:
npx notemend init && npx notemend loginnpx notemend link <project-id>Then ask Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Cursor for the open comments. It fixes each in the code and marks it resolved with a note of what changed. See Your coding agent.
5. Confirm the fix
A resolved comment waits for a person. Open the site, press Check in the comments panel and walk through the fixes: Looks right confirms one, Reopen sends it back to the agent.
